Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Where do I park?

For morning classes, you can park anywhere on the street: Grand Avenue, 2nd & 3rd street & South Hope Street.  Street parking is free until 8:00AM. As for evening classes, street parking is free after 6:00PM on Grand Ave (the bottom level).

You can also park in the building from 5:00pm to 2:00am for $5. Metered parking is available as well. For Little Tokyo, street parking is convenient and free until 8:00am.

2.  How long is the class?

You will be here for an hour.  You will warm up and stretch for about 5 - 7 min., work out for about 45- 50 min and then stretch and cool down for another 5 minutes or so.

3.   What should I wear to the consultation?

You can wear whatever you want, but it is better if you wear comfortable clothes or your workout clothes and shoes.

4.  I don't have a set schedule, so I won't be able to stay with one class.  Can I mix and match my classes?

Yes, you can.  However, we need to know in advance so we can discuss how to mix and match your classes to ensure you’re getting the most out of our program.

5.  If I want to workout 4 or more times per week, which classes should I go to?

If you are coming more than three times per week, you can choose which ever two classes that are most convenient for you attend. Here is what we recommend:

4 Classes per week - Class C plus Saturdays or take class A for two days and class B for another two days.

5 Classes per week - Class A & B.

6 Classes per week - Class A & B.

6.  What should I wear to Boot Camp?

Regular workout clothes and shoes are fine.

7.   I am a beginner, will I hold everyone else back?

No, you won’t hold anyone back at all. We specifically designed our boot camp so that people of all fitness levels can work out together. All of our exercises are done for time. So if you are in really good shape you will just get more done during the allotted amount of time for that exercise. If you are a beginner you will just go a little slower and not do as much. It gives you plenty of room to progress as you get in better shape.

8.  I am a beginner and haven’t worked out for X amount of years, am I going to die?

No, you won’t die. This Boot Camp is all about effort. You won’t be asked to do more than you can at that moment. The first week of boot camp, we recommend that you just take it a little slower and pace yourself. There is no pressure to keep up with anyone else. You are there for you. One of the biggest mistakes new people make is that they start off too fast and try to keep up. Just take it easy the first time, pace yourself and learn the exercises. You will still get an amazing workout, I promise.

9.  I have an injury, can I still do boot camp?

It depends. We do have modifications for all of the exercises and can work around some injuries. Come in and meet with us.
